Northalsted Market Days takes over Lakeview, the Bud Billiken Parade returns to Bronzeville, and Latinxt Fest brings two free days of live music to Navy Pier. Northalsted Market Days
Northalsted Market Days® is an annual street festival celebrating community in Chicago's landmark Northalsted/Lakeview neighborhood. The half-mile-long summer festival features all-day lineups of live music on 4 stages, 250+ vendors, food and drink, dance exhibitions, drag performance, and more!
Windy City Comedy Fest
The festival features nationally touring headliner Isabel Hagen, veteran Chicago comedian Bob Keen recording his live comedy special SHOTS FIRED, more than 50 comedians selected from hundreds of submissions nationwide, and six industry showcases connecting Chicago comics with bookers, producers, and agents from across the country.
Latinxt Fest
Celebrate Latin culture at Navy Pier with a two-day, free festival featuring vibrant rhythms, live music, local art, and the sounds of the Latin American diaspora along Chicago's lakefront.
Lakefront Yoga Sculpt
Presented by Theater on the Lake and The Lakefront Restaurant, this 50-minute, all-levels yoga series is the perfect way to reset before your day begins while connecting with the community along Chicago's beautiful lakefront.
Bud Billiken Parade
A Chicago tradition since 1929, Bud Billiken has grown into the nation's largest African American parade. Each year, the parade draws more than 500,000 spectators along the two-mile route. Up to 300 groups participate, including floats, marching bands, drill teams, and more.
Andersonville Vintage Market
The Andersonville Vintage Market is a vibrant outdoor event celebrating all things vintage. Held this year at Ashland & Catalpa, the market features a curated mix of vintage clothing, home goods, vinyl, furniture, and handmade treasures from some of Chicago's best vintage vendors. With plenty of opportunities to hunt for one-of-a-kind finds, it's the perfect way to spend a Sunday in Andersonville.
Northbrook Days Festival
The fest includes rides, games, live music, food, beer and wine, and much more! It's been a summer tradition in downtown Northbrook for decades.
Veggie Fest
Veggie Fest Chicago is one of the largest vegetarian food and wellness festivals in North America. This family-friendly festival celebrates the joy, science, food, and compassion behind the vegetarian lifestyle, bringing more than 50,000 participants together in recent years.
High School Musical On Stage
Get ready for a high-energy musical celebration of friendship, first love, and discovering where you belong! Disney's High School Musical comes to the stage with all your favorite songs and characters from East High. When basketball star Troy and new student Gabriella audition for the school musical, they challenge the "status quo" and inspire their classmates to break out of their cliques and shine. Packed with catchy music, big dance numbers, and heartwarming fun for the whole family!
International Festival
Celebrate the diversity of the community at Wheeling's International Festival. Bring the whole family and explore the area's cultural richness through authentic live performances, hands-on activities, and food from around the world, plus a chance to learn about local organizations serving Chicagoland's many communities. Admission is free.
Ivy Hall Crystal Lake's Car Show
Ivy Hall Crystal Lake's 2nd Annual Car Show returns for a laid-back community celebration featuring cars, bikes, live music, food, local vendors, and prizes. Hosted by Raising The Bahr Events, the event will also support the Crystal Lake Food Pantry, with suggested donations from participants benefiting the local charity.
Art In The Square
While you enjoy listening to some amazing music, you'll have the chance to browse and buy beautiful art. The artists will have functional and sculptural work and so much more in between. Sponsored by the Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois and the City of Woodstock.
