Nestled in the heart of River North, this dynamic event showcases the neighborhood’s vibrant culinary scene, live entertainment, and artistic talent, offering an unforgettable experience for food lovers and culture enthusiasts alike. Friday features a wine tasting from 6 PM, and Saturday brings a beloved Dog Parade at noon. Live music all weekend including an ABBA tribute on Saturday night. Chicago’s favorite house music street festival is back.
Roscoe Village Burger Fest
This beloved Windy City tradition celebrates its 19th year, bringing together Chicago’s top eateries serving their juiciest, most creative takes on the classic burger. Beyond the burgers: two stages of live music, an arts & crafts market, Kids’ Zone with face painting and inflatables, and the Best Burger Competition — People’s Choice announced Sunday at 7:20 PM. Friday 5–10 PM, Sat/Sun 11 AM–10 PM. Suggested $10 donation.
Tacos y Tamales
Modeled after a traditional Tianguis market, the Tacos y Tamales Festival celebrates Chicago’s rich Hispanic & Latin cultures with three days of endless authentic food options, street cantinas, live music, dance performances, a variety of vendors, art, and more. Free to enter; suggested donation benefits Pilsen community organizations.

Stop at the Kids Art Zone for fun art projects, face painting, and bubbles. Take a break with a cold beer or tasty wine and choose from a mix of festival snacks. Enjoy the live music stage, and be sure to look for Kid Friendly Art Tent and Live Art Demo signs to get interactive with the artists. Free admission.
Margarita Mayhem 5K
Grab your friends and join the fiesta at Friday Night Mayhem at beautiful Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village. Whether you run, walk, or do a little of both, the 5K is all about having fun and celebrating with margaritas afterward. A Chicago suburb tradition that’s equal parts race and party.
