Fiesta Back of the Yards
Three full days of live entertainment, carnival rides, Latin cuisine, games, and more on the South Side. A beloved community tradition that brings the neighborhood to life and celebrates the rich culture and history of Back of the Yards. Entry is free.
Taste of Randolph
The West Loop Community Organization's 29th annual Taste of Randolph returns this summer, bringing together some of Chicago's best food, drinks, and entertainment. Guests can enjoy offerings from local favorites including Alhambra, Blue Agave, Carbon, Cone, Gibson's, Goddess & Grocer, Haymarket, HIDE+SEEK, Kama, Nia, Pitaki, and more. Admission is free.
US Men's National Team Watch Party
Team USA faces Australia in their second World Cup group stage match — and Chicago is showing up. Head to watch parties across the city to cheer on the USMNT. Recess in the West Loop has a full setup with a massive 360-degree jumbotron; reserve a free mobile pass in advance.
Gold Coast Art Fair
Now in its 68th year, the Gold Coast Art Fair returns to Chicago's Grant Park, showcasing more than 200 juried artists from across the country. Set between the Art Institute and Lake Michigan, the fair features live music, food and beverage offerings, Paint & Sip classes, and interactive experiences for all ages. Families can enjoy the Kids Art Zone, complete with face painting, sand art, giant bubbles, and more.
2026 Dragon Boat Race
The Chicago Dragon Boat Race for Literacy returns, bringing a beloved tradition rooted in more than 2,000 years of Chinese history to the Chicago River. Hosted by the Chinatown Chamber for the past 24 years, this family-friendly event will feature 33 teams racing in beautifully decorated dragon boats while celebrating Asian culture and supporting local literacy programs. The race draws visitors from across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs for a day of community, competition, and cultural pride.
San Juan 5K Run & Walk
This isn't just a run — it's a full celebration of the Boricua community, where the love of Puerto Rico shines strong in every step, every cheer, and every participant. From the energy on the course to the smiles at the finish line, you'll feel the pride, connection, and unity that make this event so special.
Winnetka Music Festival
Winnetka Music Festival celebrates 10 years on the North Shore this month. What started as a small fest inside founder Val Haller's home has transformed into a beloved, neighborhood-wide celebration of music, food, and community. Father John Misty and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave headline this year's festival, along with acts like Grace Potter, Ben Kweller, and Petey USA.
Juneteenth In The Burbs
Juneteenth is more than a date — it is a celebration of liberation, legacy, cultural preservation, and community power. Expect an unforgettable day filled with live entertainment and DJs, Black-owned vendors and artists, family activities, community resources, and freedom-centered storytelling and vibes. Bring your family and friends for a full day of music, culture, connection, learning, and celebration under the open sky. Free admission.

Join on Father's Day Weekend for the City Car Show! Entry is free and all makes and models are welcome.
Midsummer Wine Walk
Gather your friends and raise a glass at Downtown Crystal Lake's Midsummer Wine Walk. Guests will check in to receive their glass, passport, and wristband before exploring 17 downtown locations offering wine samples inspired by regions around the world. Enjoy live jazz, in-store specials, and light bites along the way, then collect your take-home bottle of wine and continue the evening at nearby restaurants. Tickets $40.
Jazz Fest at Cantigny
Cantigny Jazz Fest returns to Cantigny Park in Wheaton for an all-day celebration of live jazz set against the scenic grounds of the estate. This year's headliner is the Chicago Jazz Orchestra featuring Victor Garcia, recognized as the city's oldest continuously operating professional jazz orchestra. Guests can enjoy performances from acclaimed jazz artists across multiple stages, along with food, drinks, and a relaxed outdoor festival atmosphere. Tickets $55 advance / $65 at the door; $25 youth.
